What it is
The Bai Clan shares Qing Mao Mountain with the Gu Yue Clan and the Xiong Clan, and the early chapters know them almost entirely through one young man: Bai Ning Bing, ranked among the mountain's young masters and unbeaten young.
Why they matter this early
The Bai Clan is the reason the Gu Yue elders hope so loudly. Their own words give away whose standard they are working to.
If this child tests with Grade A Aptitude and is properly nurtured, he may well be able to contend with Bai Ning Bing.

What else is known
Very little, and the entry says so. The chapters have not yet shown the Bai clan's lands, its leaders or its numbers, only that it produces geniuses the Gu Yue clan cannot match, and that living beside it is doing something unpleasant to the Gu Yue elders' pride.
